The Child Research and Policy Forum (CRPF)  seminar has been held at the Ministry of Women, Children and Youth since 2010. The CRPF is currently funded and coordinated by the DfID-funded Gender and Adolescence: Global Evidence (GAGE) programme, a nine-year longitudinal research study following the lives of 18,000 adolescent girls and boys in diverse Southern contexts, including in Ethiopia.

CRPF seminars are held every last Thursday of the month at the Ministry of Women, Children and Youth. The aim is to promote the dissemination of research and facilitate dialogue between researchers, policymakers, practitioners and other stakeholders. It is an initiative of an informal group of representatives from different organisations that are concerned with improving the connection between research, policy and practice related to children in Ethiopia, including African Child Policy Forum (ACPF), CHAD-ET, Consortium of Christian Relief and Development Associations (CCRDA), Forum on Sustainable Child Empowerment (FSCE), Gender and Adolescence: Global Evidence (GAGE), Norwegian Church Aid, Oak Foundation, Plan Ethiopia, RETRAK, Save the Children, UNICEF, World Vision and Young Lives.
